Wall Grazing School

Join us for a hands-on workshop led by the South Dakota Grassland Coalition. Learn practical strategies to manage and preserve your private lands.

why attend the grazing school

The Grazing School is not just an opportunity to learn; It’s an opportunity to expand your operation, your connections, and ultimately your bank account. The driving factor in people deciding to attend the Grazing School is often a result of being backed into a corner with finances. While what we teach often gets labeled as “sustainable practices,” it is much more than that. When you take care of your land, it takes care of you.

Connect

Connect and network with producers in various stages of implementation as well as agency professionals who can help with any questions along the way.

Learn

Learn from various professionals who have not only put in the work to transform their own operations but also helped land managers from around the state.

Grow

Take home everything you learned at the Grazing School with unlimited access to the resources we provide throughout the 3-day event.

What is the Grazing School?

The agenda features presenters from state and federal agencies, and universities. Area producers share their expertise about various topics related to grazing techniques and grassland management. Participants will hear presentations in the classroom and gain experience with hands-on activities in the field.

Space is limited. Early registration is encouraged.

What Attendees Have to say

"I just wanted to reach out to thank you and your team for putting on the Chamberlain grazing school. I found it extremely informative and fascinating, really blessed to have the opportunity to experience this event! I am extremely excited to get started implementing all of these principles that I have learned. I hope to make it out to Bart’s for the pasture walk and attend young ranchers ranching for profit. Thanks for all you do!"
