Join Our Free Pasture Walks
– Learn, Share, and Connect!
What is a Pasture Walk?
Pasture walks are free, half-day events (approximately 3 hours) designed to foster meaningful discussions and knowledge sharing in a relaxed, conversational environment. These aren’t your typical “ranch tours” – instead, they offer participants a unique opportunity to engage with producers and other experts on a range of agricultural topics.
What to Expect
Hands-on Learning
We’ll cover topics like soils, plant health, and different management practices that vary based on each operation.
Interactive Discussions
You’ll have plenty of chances to ask questions and dive deeper into subjects that interest you. We kick things off by introducing the Coalition’s mission and values, setting the stage for thoughtful conversation.
In-Field Experience
Spend time in the pasture with us, observing and discussing what you see, learning directly from the land.
Who Should Attend?
Whether you’re a producer, agency representative, or simply interested in sustainable agriculture, these events are for you! With smaller groups (typically 10-20 people), you’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect with others. While many attendees are producers, all are welcome, and everyone leaves with valuable insights.
why Attend?
Pasture walks are all about knowledge exchange. Many hosts leave with new ideas based on group discussions, and attendees benefit from the shared experiences of others in the field.
Strengthen your connections with like-minded individuals who are passionate about agriculture and land management.
We round off each event with light snacks and refreshments, offering even more time to chat and share ideas.
We will update the dates & locations as they are scheduled each spring/summer. Check back here periodically, and be sure you are signed up for our newsletter! We send out all upcoming events through email as soon as they are scheduled.
